I never said that. In fact if you read my post from earlier this year when I went to Europe, you'd see that I gave a pretty objective view of things, regarding laws and freedom. I don't put down other countries, I just don't like when people put down my country. The funny thing is that some people who read my posts either think I'm slamming the US or slamming the other countries, when in actuality I'm trying to stay in the middle and it conflicts with their heavily pro-US or anti-US views. I merely expect people to hold every country to the same standards.
Just as people in those countries do their best to improve the status of their country, I'm all for improving the status of mine. There's nothing morally wrong with this. Just because we're currently the #1 superpower in economy and military doesn't mean it's politically incorrect for us to still want to improve. I'm just sick of other people complaining about our dominant position when they'd do the same thing as us if it was them that was on top.
